HIGH VOLTAGE

By the acquisition of the Nuova Magrini Galileo establishment and the free use of Know How NMG in compliance with the Agreement, Demont can provide avery qualified set of components for high voltage transmission and distribution, such as AIS and GIS switches.

Demont manufactures and installs the components with BRAND NMG for all high voltage generation and distribution systems, from the power plant to the final consumer.

The component assembly process takes place at the Battaglia Terme (PD) factory under condition of extreme cleanliness in suitable conditioned and controlled rooms (white rooms); in turn, dielectric testing and product certification occur in the High Voltage Test Room.

Moreover, Demont can ensure the complete re-qualification and upgrading of existing systems, together with dielectric revision and testing of high voltage devices up to 800 KV. In addition, maintenance contracts are available for international markets, which include quick intervention within 24-48 hours from the call.

PRODUCT RANGE

Metal-clad switches in a comprehensive range of configurations from 123 kV to 550 kV

Outdoor switches in a comprehensive range of configurations from 72 kV to 550 kV

GIS Gas Insulated Switchgear

HOW AND WHERE WE OPERATE

Demont carries out its product manufacturing operations in its Battaglia Terme (PD) facility and operates in the domestic and international markets.

Its high expertise allows Demont to integrate Customer  Organisations in the supply and commissioning of components used for high voltage transmission and distribution.

This integration is the result of the active and direct participation in the entire process of all provided services by means of:

Applying the strictest standards in terms of Quality, Safety and the Environment

A systematic analysis of all processes in view of their continuous development and improvement

Minimising the risks of delay by designing all required adjustments to the various manufacturing processes and operational flows logistics

Planning interventions and required resources in full compliance with the operation requirements of the systems

Using sophisticated control systems

Quality management applied to raw material and semi-finished inventories

The optimised management of logistics regarding component transportation

Continuous staff training

Continuous intervention monitoring for the purpose of optimising and improving the target outcomes

And also:

Applying state-of-the-art maintenance techniques

A systematic analysis of all maintenance details in order to mitigate and get rid of potential causes for failure and amend the intervention criteria

Identifying and adopting suitable maintenance policies

Planning maintenance interventions and required resources in full compliance with the operation requirements of the systems

Spare parts and inventory management

Demont places particular care in the continuous training of its workers for the purpose of guaranteeing a top-level service in terms of skill and overall quality of the finished product or service. This training process encompasses all issues regarding environmental protection and sheer compliance and implementation of the most stringent safety standards.
