LET'S DISCOVER THE PEOPLE

The Agrate Brianza Team

Interview to ANDREA STRAZZI
Project Manager for the STM project

Andrea, how long have you been working at Demont?

I joined Demont at the end of 2018, for the ITER project construction site in France.
It is precisely in ITER that I subsequently started working as PM.
In 2020, I then moved on the STM project in Agrate Brianza, initially followed by the headquarter and then directly from the construction site.
I still deal with this project and its evolution today, along with other projects.

What does your team do?

My team takes care of the development of the project at 360 degrees, starting from the planning, engineering development and procurement plans, to get to the execution of the assembly with the site team, assisted by the Site Manager.
The Agrate project is an EPC whose purpose is the construction of the technological and process systems of the new STM plant, capable of producing 300mm silicon disks (wafers).
The project is divided into 3 distinct phases called Pilot, Half Build Out (HBO) and Full Build Out (FBO). We are currently in the final stages of completion on HBO and are vying for the FBO Final Round.

In your experience, what is the secret to make a team work well together?

A team is made up of individuals and the harmony between people comes from the ability to believe in a common goal. The key is that everyone has in their head what they want to achieve as a company and as an individual and pursue their commitment consistently.
It is essential that each resource sees that their skills are recognized and best used to the fullest for the sake of the project.
Sometimes, during the hardship, it is easy to get upset and in those moments it is the team that makes the difference.

In your opinion, which are the values of your company?

No one is perfect, but together we are invincible: this is the main value that I learned in this company.
Another important value is the awareness that you can always rely on colleagues.

In your opinion, which advantages can the client derive from teamwork?

Over time, when a customer finds himself in front of a close-knit team, he almost comes to feel part of it, to have the awareness that he can count of us, as if we were part of the same team that works together for a single goal.
Therefore not only do we know that we can rely on each other internally, but we transmit the same trust to the customer.

Could you please describe your team with a #hashtag?

I think that the best hashtag is #nevergiveup!
