What We Are Looking For ?
For our subsidiary SIKEL IMPIANTI S.r.l., the Junior Estimator will be supported by a Senior resource for the preparation of offers for ordinary and extraordinary maintenance (turnarounds) in the petrochemical sector. The resource will perform the following activities:
– analysis of the tender documentation and the customer’s needs,
– processing of technical-economic calculations by estimating quantities, times and costs,
– identification of the necessary specializations based on technical data and identification of costs,
– management of internal relations with the company functions involved in the project (quality, safety, sales, etc…),
– preparation and drafting of the economical tender report and related attachments.
Minimum Qualifications and Characteristics Needed for this Position
- Technical Industrial diploma
- minimum work experience in maintenance shipbuilding in the petrochemical sector
- being able to read a technical drawing (planimetric and axonometric)
- knowledge of the English language at an adequate level for reading and understanding tender documents and draw up offer documents
- good knowledge and productive use of Excel
Preferred Skills
- Engineering degree
- good level of knowledge of a second foreign language
