Work is ongoing for the supply of the desalator commissioned by the Algerian company Sonatrach to the Demont Group last February. The order is for a 20 tonne/hour distilled water desalination unit, directed to the GPZ1 complex in Oran.
At the current stage of the project, the three “effects” that will form the evaporator (main component of the desalination unit) are being completed within HI-PE’s workshops, ready for the upcoming pickling process and for subsequent assembly.
Demont and HI-PE, joining forces in the fields of design, engineering and construction, will be ready to send to Sonatrach the complete desalination unit of all its components by the end of the year, whose final assembly will take place once arrived in the Algerian territory.
