What We Are Looking For ?
The Senior EPC Plant Estimator deals with the preparation of installation estimates, on-site supply of turnkey systems, supply and workshop construction of plant components and products, mainly performing the following activities:
– analysis of the tender documentation and the customer’s needs,
– processing of technical-economic calculations by estimating quantities, times and costs,
– identification of the necessary specializations based on technical data and identification of costs,
– management of internal relations with the company functions involved in the project (quality, safety, sales, etc…),
– preparation and drafting of the economical tender report and related attachments.
Minimum Qualifications and Characteristics Needed for this Position
- Technical Industrial diploma
- work experience in industrial shipbuilding (industrial or civil assembly)
- reading and understanding technical documents (axonometric, planimetric, etc.) and contractual documents
- knowledge of the English language at an adequate level for reading and understanding tender documents and draw up offer documents
- good knowledge and productive use of Excel
Preferred Skills
- Engineering degree
- good level of knowledge of a second foreign language
- residence in Valbormida zone
