On the construction site of the New Ostiglia Thermoelectric Power Plant, where Demont in a temporary consortium with Siemens Energy and FATA, has acquired the turnkey contract for the construction of the new combined cycle plant (capacity 880 MW), operations are proceeding with great commitment.
On April 24th, the lifting activity of the last chimney section was completed with the aid of a 600-ton AC 2800 crane. Tacking and welding activities continued over the following two days. Once the safety measures have been completed, the crane’s derigging phase will be initiated, followed by its dismantling and demobilization.
The construction site has benefited from the expertise and meticulous preparation of the teams involved.
