Battaglia Terme, April 8, 2025 – Overnight, the exceptional transport of the evaporator, a crucial component of the desalination unit destined for Sonatrach, a giant of the Algerian oil industry and strategic partner of our country, has started.
The desalinator, MED – TVC type, was conceived by Demont and manufactured in the specialized workshop of its subsidiary HI-PE. The transport, departing from Battaglia Terme (PD), will reach the port of Marina di Carrara and then continue by sea to Arzew, Algeria, where the desalinator will later be installed.
This project marks another key step in the strategic collaboration between leading companies in the two countries, a partnership initiated last summer with the mutual memorandum of understanding signed by Demont Group and the Algerian Somiz.
